Not only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of quality, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s musical legacy is remarkable and significant, retaining its relevance in today’s world. The works of the great Viennese composer live on in opera houses and concert halls, and in countless recordings. They inspire new works and are reimagined in the languages of jazz and rock music. They are also transformed into electronic versions and serve as a source of inspiration for popular music, mobile phone ringtones and video game soundtracks.
