We live in a time that often feels filled with conflict and division. Us versus them, people against people, countries against countries, cultures against cultures. Sometimes we see life as a zero-sum game where someone has to lose for someone else to win. But we believe there is another way. A way where our ability to love and care for each other is stronger than our enmity, where understanding and compassion outweigh our differences, and where we celebrate what makes us unique and use it as our strength.
Twenty people from different parts of the world and cultures have come together to create Copenhagen Collective, a new acrobatics collective in Copenhagen. Their first performance – The Genesis – is about how we are all interconnected and deeply dependent on each other.
This production explores our shared humanity and how, through cooperation and mutual respect, we can overcome our differences and create something stronger together.
