Featuring rising soprano Dārta Liepiņa, Agnese Kanniņa (baroque violin), Ainārs Paukšēns (viola da gamba), and Jānis Pelše (positive organ) will performe works by Georg Philipp Telemann, Dieterich Buxtehude, Heinrich Ignaz Biber, Johann Sebastian Bach and Carl Friedrich Abel.
Dārta Liepiņa is an active performer in the Netherlands, working with ensembles such as Cappella Amsterdam, Música Temprana, and Ars Musica. She has distinguished herself in the field of early music, appearing at the Utrecht Early Music Festival, participating in masterclasses with Emma Kirkby and Tanja Vogrin, and regularly performing J.S. Bach’s cantatas and passions.
