The concert features music by Antonio Vivaldi and other Italian composers in new instrumental arrangements. The programme offers an unusual sonic experience: baroque lute and mandolin repertoire interpreted on kokles (Latvian string instrument), while the accordion expands the timbral palette of Baroque music, at times imitating the organ. Alongside this, the baroque violin and the ensemble’s shared sound will reveal the nearly limitless interpretative possibilities of Baroque music.
