The Latvian hip hop summer concert programme is rounded off by one of the brightest artists of the new American rap generation, Rich The Kid, whose arsenal includes hits with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, Future and many other contemporary hip hop greats, so there will be no shortage of famous songs.
Inspired by hip hop pioneers like 2Pac and Jay-Z, Rich The Kid (real name Dimitri Leslie Roger) started his journey in the hip hop genre back in 2013. His debut full-length album "The World Is Yours" reached number 2 on the Billboard 100, the world's leading music chart, and was certified gold, attracting both local and international attention. The album's singles "New Freezer" (featuring Kendrick Lamar) and "Plug Walk" have become absolute fan-favourite classics.
Throughout his musical career, Rich The Kid has already collaborated with hip hop greats such as Playboi Carti, Ty Dolla $ign and Kendrick Lamar, securing a solid and ever-growing position in the hip hop genre. The 2024 release "Life's a Gamble", a collaboration with production duo ¥$ (Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign), builds on what we've heard before, surprising with an even stronger sound, complemented by artists such as Offset and Peso Pluma.
