Riga Festival. Jazz Evening with Matīss Žilinskis

Matīss Žilinskis is a fourth-generation musician. The outstanding pianist, composer, and arranger's new concert programme "Childhood Memories" was developed by painting childhood memories, adventures, smells and tastes, emotions, moods, and observations in sound.

His twelve diverse compositions are linked by their melodicism and simply understood harmonic language, as well as the lightness and lightness of their exposition. The young musician's ideal performing companions are experienced jazz musicians Andris Grunte on double bass and Artis Orubs on drums.
