The annual Fashion Show of the Art Academy of Latvia (AAL) is showcasing the achievements of this year's best Fashion Design specialization students. In total, 18 collections will be presented. This year, the collections of young fashion designers will be dominated by childhood memories and nostalgic personal stories, issues of equality, and creatively sustainable design solutions.
The AAL Fashion Show is one of the largest and most significant platforms for new fashion and design in Latvia, promoting the development of the fashion industry and representing the creative achievements of fashion design students for the thirtieth consecutive year.
The Fashion Show traditionally kicks off the extensive event cycle of the Design Days. During the Design Days several exhibitions, lectures, workshops, presentations, and the premiere of last year's AAL Fashion Show film "Kliedziens" will take place.
