Right on the banks of the Daugava River, families, friends, and everyone looking to experience the true spirit of summer in Riga will come together for a day of celebration. It will be a day to create unforgettable summer memories together. The festival will feature live music, along with a variety of attractions and workshops for both children and adults.
At 6:00 p.m., on the Daugava River between the Vanšu Bridge and the Riga Passenger Port, an attempt will be made to set a world record in the category "Most People Blowing Fog Horns Simultaneously." The goal is to bring together at least 500 participants to create one powerful sound, symbolizing Latvia's sailing community and celebrating its centennial.
Immediately following the record attempt, the Gulf of Riga Regatta (GoRR) Parade of Sailing Yachts will mark the official opening of the Baltic's largest annual offshore sailing regatta. The parade can be viewed from the Riga Passenger Port area.
