Pastaigatons - collective walk with educational and athletic activities

Walking is the most natural and accessible form of movement, providing significant benefits for both physical and mental health. To highlight the importance of movement and walking in maintaining well-being, a unique event – the first “Pastaigatons” – will take place in Riga on April 18. The event will combine a collective walk through Riga's neighborhoods with educational and athletic activities led by fitness coach and content creator Dace Alpa.

During the “Pastaigatons” collective walk, participants will follow a 6.5 km route through various neighborhoods of Riga, offering an opportunity not only to enjoy the cityscapes but also to receive useful tips on health and daily physical activities. The event will be hosted by fitness coach Dace Alpa and guide Olga Ipatova-Ignatjeva.

The event will begin at 11:00 AM with a gathering at Kaļķu Street 2 and will finish at 2:00 PM at Strēlnieku Street 1.
Participants are invited to register by 16.04.2026. by filling out the application form at ej.uz/pastaigatons
