In 2024, a top speedway competition will once again be held in Latvia, welcoming the world's fastest and best speedway athletes to Riga, at the Biķernieki Track! On Saturday, medals will be awarded in the second stage of the U-21 Junior World Championships (SGP2), but you will see the most famous speedway drivers on Sunday - within the ninth round of the World Speedway Championship (SGP) season.
- The second stage of the 2024 U-21 Junior World Championship (SGP2), the DeWALT FIM Speedway GP2 of Latvia - Riga, will take place on September 6, 2024;
- The ninth stage of the Speedway World Championship (SGP) season, the FIM SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX OF LATVIA, will take place on September 7, 2024.
The 2024 races have a number of new surprises for spectators:
DeWALT Grandstand - the grandstand will be located right next to the pit area, allowing you to feel the dynamism and excitement of speedway right at the epicenter of the competition! Only spectators who have purchased tickets in the DeWALT Grandstand will be able to watch the competitors preparing for the race and the teams actively working in the pits from the area adjacent to the grandstand.
VIP tickets - for Saturday's SGP, spectators can purchase VIP tickets, which will include a seat in the Sector C grandstand, overlooking the start/finish area. VIP spectators will be provided with a catering area, seating area, separate restrooms, printed race program, parking and separate race entrance, as well as guest access to the competitor area (pits) for a set period of time on race day.
Entry tickets can be purchased for one day of the event (Friday or Saturday) or, at a discounted price, for both days of the event. The VIP program is only available for the SGP event on Saturday.
