The Baltic Rallycross season will kick off at the Biķernieki track with an impressive lineup of competitors. Among the participants in the RX3000 class, we will also see world-class driver Andreas Bakkerud, for whom this will be a new experience and an exciting adventure ahead of the upcoming FIA European Championship round, which, in two weeks, on May 9 and 10, will bring together Europe’s top rallycross drivers in Biķernieki.
The season-opening race will feature a large field of competitors from seven different countries, who will compete for podium finishes across nine classes. The international lineup at the start is due to the fact that, in the days leading up to the opening of the Baltic round, official practice sessions for the FIA European Championship are taking place at the Biķernieki track, and some of the drivers have decided to join the local-level competition for practice purposes. In the "Cross Car" class, there is even a participant from China at the starting line.
