Football club RFS will face Finnish champions Koupio KuPS in the first match of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round. The return match will take place in Kuopio, Finland, on August 14. Last season, RFS reached the Europa League group stage, where it finished in 32nd place.
For RFS footballer Jānis Ikaunieks, this will be another reunion with his former teammates, as he spent two seasons with KuPS and won two Finnish Cups with them.
