The "Riga Open 2026" International Boxing Tournament

The "Riga Open" is Latvia’s largest and oldest international boxing tournament, as well as one of the oldest tournaments of its kind in Europe. It forms an important part of Latvia’s boxing history and traditions. Many outstanding Latvian boxers have taken part in this tournament, and their achievements have shaped the history of boxing in our country. Therefore, after a seven-year hiatus, the Latvian Boxing Union (Latvijas Boksa Savienība) is reviving this tradition so that the "Riga Open" may once again become an annual, internationally recognised and prestigious boxing tournament.

The 71st international boxing tournament "Riga Open 2026", organised by the Latvian Boxing Union (Latvijas Boksa Savienība), will see more than 80 boxers from at least seven countries – Estonia, Ukraine, Ireland, Israel, Sweden, Lithuania and Latvia – compete. The athletes will represent their countries’ boxing clubs and teams, competing in the U19 youth and Elite adult age groups.

Competition schedule:

29 October – arrival of teams, technical meeting and official draw at 8.00 pm.
30 October – preliminary rounds from 14.00.
31 October – semi-finals from 12.00.
