The 2026 UEFA European Futsal Championship (UEFA Futsal EURO 2026) will be the thirteenth edition of this prestigious tournament, in which the best European national futsal teams will compete for the title. The tournament will take place from January 21 to February 7 and, for the first time in history, will be jointly hosted by three countries – Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia.
The Xiaomi Arena in Riga will host eight games – six Group A and B matches on January 21, January 25 and January 28, including all three Latvian team games, as well as one quarterfinal game on January 31 between the winners of Group A, represented by the Latvian national team, and the runners-up of Group B, represented by the Lithuanian national team.
This will be only the second time that the championship will be held in its new format – once every four years with 16 teams participating. The current two-time champions are Portugal, who won both the 2018 and 2022 tournaments.
For Latvia, this will be the biggest football event in the country's history, and for fans it is a unique opportunity to see Europe's strongest futsal teams right at home. UEFA Futsal EURO 2026 will not only be a sporting challenge, but also a celebration for all football fans, which will strengthen the popularity and development of indoor football in our region.
