The mission of the art gallery Art Platz is a desire to sharing between art, people and society. Our goal is to discover and popularize emerging artists, to promote art in public space, and create a place for the artistic and cultural experience exchange.
The various exhibition calendar includes expositions by appreciated and well-known Latvian artists. Other events are also organized, such as lectures by artists and art historians, and creative workshops. The art gallery offers guided tours of current exhibitions. Artworks can be also purchased on-site in the gallery and by participating in the Art Platz Auction (art-platz.com).
After the visiting the exhibition and the gallery, we are welcoming guests to our cosy tea room and enjoy a cup of delicious tea, indulge in conversations about art, artistic freedom where is no boundaries. Simply enjoy the moment and the sense of peace that the gallery staff tries to create in the city bustle.
