Soloists Inga Šļubovska-Kancēviča, Irma Pavāre, Mārtiņš Šmaukstelis, and Edgars Ošleja, as well as pianist and artistic director Ilze Ozoliņa, invite you to the first chamber music concert of the season, "Sasaukšanās" (Resonance), at the Latvian National Opera's Beletāža Hall.

Anna Veismane's vocal cycle with poetry by Kārlis Skalbe will be premiered by tenor Mārtiņš Šmaukstelis. A piano accompaniment to Arturs Maskats' triptych with poetry by Fričis Bārda has been created especially for this concert. This cycle will be performed by soprano Inga Šļubovska-Kancēviča. Pēteris Plakidis' cycle Three Poems by Ojārs Vācietis for voice and piano will be performed by mezzo-soprano Irma Pavāre, while bass Edgars Ošleja will sing Roberts Liede's romantic compositions with poetry by Laimonis Kamara, Vilis Plūdonis and Ojārs Vācietis. The concert will honor the 150th anniversary of the renowned Latvian composer Emīls Dārziņš, whose vocal music will be performed by all of the soloists. The concert will be conducted by Liene Jakovļeva.
This season, the Latvian National Opera and Ballet invites you to three more chamber music concerts. In the program "Frequency of the Soul: Chopin" on November 29, singers Brigita Reisone and Mihails Čuļpajevs, cellist Dace Zālīte-Zilberte, and pianist Edgars Tomševics will come together in the music of Frédéric Chopin. On December 8, in memory of the great pianist Mārtiņš Zilberts, his friends and colleagues invite you to a special concert, "To Pianist Mārtiņš Zilberts on His Birthday. Continuation". On Valentine's Day, February 14, singers Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine and Rihards Millers, as well as pianist Ērika Millere, will present the concert "Romantic Serenades".
