Celebrating the 36th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, the Culture and Folk Art Center "Ritums", in cooperation with the Folk Costume Centre "Senā klēts" invites you to put on a folk costume in honour of Latvia and participate in the traditional folk costume parade and place flowers at the Freedom Monument.

12.00-15.00 folklore groups concert: "Kokle", "Grodi", "Skandinieki", "Vilkači", "Zeidi", "Rīgas Danču klubs"
14.10 A parade in traditional costumes from Town Hall Square to the Freedom Monument
14.30 the laying of flowers at the Freedom Monument and the song "Daugav’ abas malas" (Both banks of the Daugava River)
