The International Art Exhibition brings together talents from around the world who attribute their creative work to automatism, biomorphism, Dadaism, metaphysical art, and surrealism in a contemporary context and through modern technologies. It is a platform for experimentation, showcasing artists’ works and new ideas.
The mission of the Biennale is to unleash and support the potential of talented artists, as well as to provide a broad audience with the opportunity to discover the works of contemporary artists whose creative output is associated with the aforementioned styles. The exhibition features contemporary surrealists from the USA, Canada, the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Germany, Finland, and other countries. The Biennale is dedicated to exploring the deepest levels of consciousness through visual art.
Alongside the main exhibition, the event includes various activities: artist talks, panel discussions, competitions, interviews, and publications.
Tickets can be purchased online or on site at the museum. The price of the exhibition ticket also includes admission to the Latvian Railway History Museum.
