This concert will feature some of the finest examples of Latvian vocal chamber music. The programme also includes a new work composed by Anna Veismane – a vocal cycle Little Tales on Butterfly Wings for baritone and piano.
Soloists of the Latvian National Opera – sopranos Inna Kločko and Annija Kristiāna Ādamsone, tenor Mārtiņš Šmaukstelis, bass-baritone Rihards Mačanovskis – together with pianist Ilze Ozoliņa invite audiences to enjoy Latvian vocal chamber music, exploring the musical language of different eras, its rich colours and varied moods.
