The program centers on two composers—Johann Sebastian Bach and Pēteris Vasks. Both composers form the foundation of this program, each with his own timeless depth and spiritual intensity. The other works are structured around this core: Francesco Geminiani with his Baroque colorfulness, Christoph Schaffrath with his elegant lightness, and Marin Marais with his refined virtuosity and improvisational flair. These works are not merely supplements, but rather an ornamental pattern that illuminates the main theme, creating contrasts and opening up various musical perspectives.
