The Children of Siberia Foundation and the Latvian Radio Choir invite you to the annual memorial concert, dedicated to the victims of the deportations on 14 June 1941. The concert is dedicated not only to the preservation of historical memory, but also as a symbolic bridge between the experience of the past and today's understanding of freedom, human dignity and identity.
The concert will feature works by Latvian composers - Pēteris Vasks, Andris Dzenītis, Mārtiņš Brauns and Emīls Dārziņš, with poetry by Knuts Skujenieks, Fricis Bāda, Jānis Poruks and Broņislava Martuževa.
