EU, EEA and Swiss can start their employment in Latvia already before application for a registration card and handle these formalities in parallel to employment. Once documents are reviewed by the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, you will have to visit the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs in person to submit biometrics (digital photo and fingerprint scans) and receive a registration card.
